Frank Kiepura

Frank Kiepura, a Senior Manager in Valuation Advisory at Lieberman LLP, has over 15 years of valuation, private equity, and alternative asset experience.

Mr. Kiepura has provided solutions for clients over a wide range of engagements, including financial reporting, complex security valuations, portfolio valuations, shareholder oppression cases, and estate and gift tax valuations. He specializes in the valuation of complex securities, including preferred shares, restricted stock units, options, warrants, stock appreciation rights, and other equity-based compensation for ASC 718 and 409A compliance.

Mr. Kiepura has extensive experience implementing analytical tools and models to solve his client’s most complex valuation problems. His areas of expertise include applying option pricing models, binomial models, Monte Carlo simulations, and other complex financial models to determine values for equity-based compensation and other exotic financial instruments.

Before joining Lieberman, Mr. Kiepura was a vice president with JP Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank, where he was responsible for leading teams in portfolio valuations for clients. Previously, he was a vice president with Citigroup Private Equity. Mr. Kiepura started his career as a specialist in PwC’s international tax group.

Mr. Kiepura is a contributor to thought leadership, provides insights to various financial publications and is a frequent speaker at state societies and valuation conferences. Mr. Kiepura earned his B.S. degree in Finance from Manhattan College and his M.B.A. in Quantitative Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He holds AICPA Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV), is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the business valuation committee of the New York State CPA Society (NYSSCPA).
